Better Drawing Management

So often the control of drawings is left to the tool provided by the operating system.

At best this is a compromise.  The well known Windows Explorer creates a repository for your files but can you find them? Can you search for the creator of the drawing or when it was created.  Can you review the revision history?  Could you publish it to the web for fast search and retrieval?

What is more, can you preview the drawing in more than a thumbnail view?
